Strand Therapeutics Inc is a bio-technology company that has further developed mRNA technology beyond that which has been used to deliver vaccines to create a platform that is capable of delivering precision therapeutics to treat specific diseases in the human body. In addition to developing its own pipeline of drugs, Strand licenses its technology to other drug development companies that want to use this technology in their own drug development efforts. The platform can be applied to a wide range of diseases, although the initial applications are being developed for oncology. The deal was sourced through our partners at Playground Global.

Netskope is a cloud security company that offers a suite of digital security solutions. The Company’s main product is a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) that helps enterprises secure sensitive data in the cloud.

M1 Finance is a fintech company offering a robo-advisory investment platform with brokerage accounts, digital checking accounts and credit offerings. M1 Finance offers an electronic trading platform for the trade of various financial assets including stocks, fractional-share ownership, and ETFs. The company also provides margin lending, credit cards, automatic rebalancing services, dividend reinvestment services, crypto trading services and cash management services including debit cards.

Lake Air Products is a Minneapolis, MN based vertically integrated advanced manufacturing partner to some of the country’s largest original equipment manufacturers. Lake Air’s mix of capabilities is in high demand and the Company has generated a competitive advantage by strategically positioning itself deeply within its customers’ supply chains/processes. Lake Air’s capabilities include precision sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, stamping, welding, structural/electromechanical assembly, paint/metal finishing, tooling and design/engineering.

Exabeam is a growth-stage information security operations company, based in San Mateo, California, that enables security teams to identify and protect against threats.

Everside provides technology-enabled direct primary care that offers patients direct and convenient 24/7 access to their physicians through employer on-site clinics, near-site health clinics and virtual clinical access. Everside is the second largest value-based primary care provider in the U.S., with nearly 400 clinics across 34 states serving over 570,000 members.

Dremio has built a self-service data analytics platform for data scientists, analysts and broader data users. It is an open solution, which allows customers to run analytics on their data lakes without having to move or copy their data, thus democratising data access for organisations and enabling businesses to leverage the data they are generating for revenue-generating purposes. Dremio enables lightning-fast queries directly against S3 (Amazon) and ADLS (Azure), thereby reducing the cost and complexity of cloud data warehouses by separating compute and data.

This was an investment into an auction of wireless spectrum in the United States, which is the critical digital infrastructure that enables mobile communications. Wireless spectrum is limited in supply yet is experiencing a structural increase in usage and demand as we use mobile and connected devices to do more powerful and data intensive tasks. Auction 110 (this investment) repurposed 100MHz of adjacent Mid-Bands spectrum, that had been used by the Department of Defence, for use by the Carriers. Auction 110 covered the last block of spectrum that is essential in operating 5G mobile networks.

Choco is a digital ordering tool for restaurants and suppliers, aiding both sides in the order procurement process by moving communication and records online and to mobile. Choco saves restaurant operators several hours a week and provides a digital storefront for restaurant suppliers.

Branch is a contextual deep linking company, formed in 2013 and based in Redwood City, California. Its deep linking tool powers the connections between apps and the internet without dropping (or having to guess) user information. The platform has provided Branch with in-app information about usage and end users, something that no one else has been able to achieve. Branch has a data set on app usage that no one has come remotely close to replicating. In a mobile world, where users prefer apps to web, Branch has a chance of being “the Google of” mobile app environments, allowing users to search within and across apps.

Beyond Identity is a security platform based in New York that aims to eliminate passwords for workers accessing applications within an enterprise environment, customers accessing applications or services online, and developers signing code into repositories. Beyond Identity has created a novel approach to authentication at the device level, leveraging the increasingly powerful identity management abilities of modern devices in a way that reduces friction for users while delivering an extremely secure solution.
